JustFaith is a two-year journey that invites participants to encounter the living Christ in our midst, especially in the lives of people who are poor and vulnerable.
Over twenty-four flexible 2.5-hour sessions including prayer, dialogue, active listening, and relationship-building, participants explore how they might live with a deeper sense of purpose amidst a world in great need of loving service. Readings, videos, speakers, and immersion experiences are all part of the JustFaith process. And the Episcopal Church in Colorado is committed to fostering ecumenical groups where Episcopalians can connect with Catholics, Lutherans, Methodists, Presbyterians, Congregationalists, Evangelicals, Eastern Orthodox, and other Christians on the journey of faith.
Program features include:
- Connecting one’s personal faith to the wider world in which we live, especially the poor in Colorado and beyond
- Learning in an ecumenical context alongside other Episcopalians and Christians from a variety of denominations
- Joining head, heart, and spirit to deepen belief-in-action
- Visiting organizations to hear stories of those living and working on the margins of society
While traditional parish-based groups are currently on offer, the Episcopal Church in Colorado is currently working with JustFaith to pioneer a diocese-wide “hybrid” model of mostly online meetings with occasional face-to-face gatherings. Stay tuned!
