In addition to the online courses offered through the Iliff Anglican Studies program, an increasing number of Episcopal seminaries are also now offering online courses for lay and ordained leaders.

The Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP)

Church Divinity School of the PacificThe Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP) offers flexible, online, inexpensive 7-week short courses through its Center for Anglican Learning and Leadership (CALL) program, which can be taken for 2 Continuing Education Units. The courses are open to anyone—lay or ordained, of any denomination or none—and are taught by experienced instructors who engage students from across The Episcopal Church and wider Anglican Communion to create an interactive online learning community.

Bexley Seabury

Bexley Seabury logoThe recent federation of two longstanding Episcopal seminaries—Bexley Hall and Seabury Western Theological Seminary—created a unique center for learning and discipleship known as Bexley Seabury. With physical campuses in Columbus, OH and Chicago, IL, Bexley Seabury also offers numerous courses online that can be taken for credit or for continuing education. In fact, all Bexley Seabury courses can be taken for continuing ed or just for the love of learning at rates significantly less than for-credit courses. The Lifelong Learning section of the Bexley Seabury site offers details on the variety of courses on offer for laity and clergy alike—including the annual 3- or 5-day intensive Bexley Seabury Leadership Institute at the Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management and Bexley Seabury Prayer Book Series in partnership with ChurchNext.
